I, like many, many other music fans in the world, looovvee Ingrid Michaelson. She perfects being effortlessly musical. Her voice personifies her insides, from what I can guess...someone unique, ever-changing and so radiantly raw and true to one's eternal self. Well, that's how I see it anyways, as dramatic and whimsical as it may sound.

I just got my ears on her new album, Human Again, and it's superb!

Ingrid never disappoints me. My favorite song on the album is Blood Brothers. It really reminds me of how important family is...and the emotional connection that you have with someone that you would live and die for. I am totally a lyric person but with Ingrid's music, I am hooked by the melodies, unique vocal color, and contrasting and diverse harmonies and instrumentation. The lyrics are the cherry on top:).

I didn't intend for this to be a Mook Report (Book Report...get it?) but I guess I kind of got carried away.

Anyways...

I hope you all hook yourselves up with the new album in one way or another...whether it be listening to a song, getting the album, or getting to a concert. Because Ingrid truly rocks!!
